The summer of hate "The '67 session" esce nel 2007 per l'italiana Arte Lupo e racchiude parte delle registrazioni fatte da Manson agli Universal Studios grazie a Phil Kaufman (l'intera sessione di registrazione si trova nell'album The psychedelic soul of Charles Manson). Le canzoni rivelano radici nella musica anni '40 e '50, con le ovvie influenze lasciate dal primo maestro di chitarra di Manson: Alvin Francis "Creepy" Karpis, membro della Barker Gang e suo compagno di prigione nei primi anni '60.
She Done Turned Me In ( Twilight Blues / Your Daddys Home) non sono scritte da Manson ma, come lui stesso spiega nella registrazione, da un suo compagno di cella arrestato per aver rapinato una banca. Sick city e Look at your game, girl ricompariranno in una nuova versione nell'album Lie, the love and terror cult. La registrazione dell'intero album contiene anche piccoli frammenti di dialoghi tra i tecnici e Charlie.
